Temporary contract ending on 31st August 2021.

37 hours per week – Job Share will be considered

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the above position within our Training and Development Department based at Cardiff Gate Training and Development Centre, Church Road, Old St. Mellons, Cardiff, CF3 6YA.

This is an exciting role and offers the successful candidate involvement in delivering training to employees of South Wales Fire and Rescue Service and other agencies.  Individuals will gain considerable experience and knowledge in the coordination and maintenance of training equipment. The successful post holder will be responsible for:-

  • Delivering training to operational Firefighters and other agencies/groups, including where appropriate breathing apparatus course delivery.
  • Maintaining training equipment at Cardiff Gate and Satellite Training facilities throughout the South Wales Fire and Rescue Service area.
