We would like to express our thanks to all of our Corporate Members supporting us in 2020 and 2021. New and renewed membership helps us continue to grow and progress our services and activities. And in these unsettling and challenging times of Covid-19, we have adapted the way we work to continue to bring benefits and new services to our valued members and network. In times of crisis, our corporate membership is of paramount importance for a small non-profit organisation like WFS
Today, we’re generously supported by a growing membership of fire services in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. We’re thrilled that over forty services are backing us for our membership year starting 2021.
Joining as new members in 2021 are Kent Fire and Rescue Service, Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service.
“Through our corporate membership scheme, we aim to build strong connections with services in all four countries in the UK. Our members recognise the role we play in the advancement of women in the fire service, and are keen to inspire their staff through joining us.
WFS Chair Jules King
I would like to give a special welcome to our five new corporate members. We very much look forward to working with each of them – with their support we can continue to scale our services.
Through backing us this year, our corporate members demonstrate their commitment to developing and promoting advancement and leadership opportunities for women in the service. We are delighted they are on board!”
Corporate membership offers many benefits including free job listings, discounts on online events, support with recruitment, member recognition on our website, and more.
