An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK’s leading fire and rescue services, playing a vital role in making West Yorkshire safer. At West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (WYFRS) we believe everyone has a part to play, and we are looking for a dynamic and compassionate recruitment professional to join our People and Culture Directorate.
As Recruitment Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our service, with the unique job satisfaction of knowing that you are directly contributing to the recruitment of our skilled and talented workforce, and the safety and wellbeing of the people of West Yorkshire.

Lead and manage the recruitment function across West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, ensuring the delivery of inclusive, efficient and legally compliant recruitment processes that support operational readiness, workforce diversity and community representation.

We offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid working. Whilst you will be required to work from our offices for parts of your initial training, after this you’ll work both in the office and from home as part of our ‘hybrid’ working model. Therefore, applicants must have a reliable home internet connection.
