We are looking for a new Lead Communications and Engagement Officer to shape how we tell our story and connect with our communities and colleagues. You will lead the delivery of high-impact campaigns that bring our Service priorities to life, working across media, digital, internal and engagement channels to create joined-up, meaningful communications.
At the heart of the role is a focus on quality and outcomes – you will set the standard for clear, consistent and compelling messaging, while creating and overseeing accessible, bilingual and inclusive content that truly reaches people and makes a positive difference. You will play a key role in developing a talented team of Communications Officers, building confidence, capability and pride in their work.
Alongside this, you will work closely with partners and stakeholders to deliver proactive, engaging activity that has a positive impact in communities. This is a dynamic and rewarding role where you will also support incident and crisis communications, helping ensure a calm, professional and coordinated response when it matters most.
If you are passionate about storytelling, thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to make a visible impact, this is a chance to help shape the future of communications in the Service.
