We are recruiting a Fire Control Crew Manager — a leadership role with real purpose.
WFRS is looking for dedicated, confident leaders to join us as Crew Manager (Control) at our newly refurbished Control Room in Leamington Spa. If you are ready for the next step in your career — whether you are seeking a promotion or looking to transfer from another service, we would love to hear from you.
As a Crew Manager, you will play a vital leadership role in coordinating emergency call handling, supporting operational incidents, and guiding your team to deliver exceptional service to our communities. You will coach and develop Control Firefighters, maintain high standards, and deputise for the Watch Manager, helping to drive improvement and operational excellence.
We welcome competent Firefighters (Control) eager to progress, as well as existing Crew Managers ready for a new challenge or a fresh environment. What matters most is your leadership, resilience, communication skills, and commitment to supporting others during the moments that matter most.
You will join a supportive watch‑based team, working with upgraded control systems, modern technology, and strong development pathways. As part of Warwickshire County Council, you will also benefit from the Local Government Pension Scheme, generous leave, wellbeing support, and a workplace that values inclusion, teamwork, and personal growth.
If you are ready to step up or know someone who is looking for promotion or transfer — please apply or share this opportunity.
Applications close Tuesday 31st March 2026 (midnight), with interviews on 9th and 10th April.
