Manage timber and consumable supplies, including the procurement and storage of training materials.
Load, unload and move materials safely using appropriate mechanical aids and plant equipment.
Operate Training Centre vehicles and machinery, including the Manitou telehandler, to support training activities and site operations.
Assist with the setup, delivery and safe operation of practical training demonstrations and scenarios.
Carry out minor repairs, maintenance and adaptations to training facilities and equipment.
Manage equipment testing and maintenance programmes to ensure assets remain compliant, safe and fit for purpose.
Support post-training clean-down activities, including the maintenance of fire behaviour training units and associated equipment.
Contribute to maintaining a safe, organised and professional training environment at all times.
This role is essential to the successful delivery of operational training and offers the opportunity to work as part of a dedicated team that helps prepare firefighters with the skills and experience needed to protect our communities.
