You can help West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service by delivering robust assurance through clear insight, effective challenge and targeted support to drive continuous improvement. Job Purpose: To support West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service by delivering assurance activity that tests performance, demonstrates compliance, and drives continuous improvement aligned to the Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP), Strategic Action Plan and Fire Standards
Key Responsibilities: Working in the Service Improvement and Assurance Team you will deliver organisational assurance to evidence compliance, identify learning and drive improvement ensuring readiness for internal and external scrutiny.
Essential requirements:
· Experience and involvement with internal and external quality assurance processes/inspection within a large organisation.
· Experience in leading and implementing continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies to enhance service delivery.
· Experience of supporting organisational change and benefits realisation to improve efficiency and align with strategic objectives.
· Knowledge of governance, risk and improvement framework
We offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid working. You will need to work from our offices during parts of your initial training.
