Are you looking for an exciting opportunity that is going to revolutionise our operational availability? Our friendly and inclusive ICT team are searching for a new Data and Systems Officer to support our new Workforce Management System, due to launch later this year.
What You Will Be Working On
Maintaining data to a high quality standard, ensuring accurate configuration is managed in a timely manner enabling accurate access for Service users.
Conducting audits of the system so that the data meets with existing policy, procedures and workflow requirements.
Provide professional advice, system expertise and reports for information requested by business areas and collaborative partners.
Enable self-service reporting to support, evaluate and measure performance across fire standards, legislation, HMICFRS and Home Office.
Work with the ICT Business Partner to support; production of technical documentation, project workstream delivery and strengthen adoption of the system by creating champions within each business area.
Build a strong relationship with the software provider to support the ICT Technical Services team with testing and managing technical issues through to resolution.
Represent ECFRS with ICT Local Partners and nationwide Fire and Rescue Services to collaborate on best practice, sharing guidance, experience and knowledge.
Represent ECFRS at national level user groups and related meetings to gain and share best practice.
Facilitate training and supporting resources for on-boarding new team members.
Work alongside and collaborate with other System and Data Officers to provide cross-system experience.
What Are We Looking For?
We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator with a passion for systems administration, managing data, and building strong working relationships.
Experience in application management and configuration, managing different stakeholders is beneficial.
