Location: Service Headquarters at Kelvedon Park

*We are open to discussing working arrangements, including flexibility over location. As a hybrid role, your work will be balanced between home and Service facilities, with an expectation to attend Service premises for at least 1 day of the working week.
The Role
We’re looking for a motivated and detail‑focused Incident Recording System (IRS) Data Technician to join a friendly and inclusive team, where you’ll play an important part in supporting operational colleagues, improving data quality, and helping our Service understand and learn from its incidents.
Your contribution will directly support teams across our Service and help ensure accurate information underpins our decisions and Service to the public.
What You Will be Working On
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a detail focused individual with a good understanding of data management practice, experience of using databases to retrieve an analyse data, with a desire to learn the understanding of address matching data. Candidates should demonstrate and elevated level of diligence and work methodically.
You will work closely with the Incident Recording Systems and Data Officer in the quality assurance of our incident data. We value individuals who contribute their unique skills to a collaborative, dynamic environment.

Assessment and Selection
Stage1: Application & shortlisting (assessment of your supporting statement will be made against the essential criteria of the Person Specification).
Stage 2: Role based interview and data analysis in-tray exercise. Assessments will be made against positive indicators taken from the NFCC Leadership Framework.
