About the role
We are looking for a fire Protection Inspector to join our Fire Protection Team. This is a key role focused on helping to keep our communities safe by ensuring businesses and premises across Cumbria comply with fire safety legislation.
You will carry out fire safety audits in a variety of premises, including higher-risk environments, and provide expert advice to support compliance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. Working closely with colleagues, partners and stakeholders, you will contribute to reducing risk and improving fire safety standards across the county.
This role combines inspection, investigation and communication, requiring a professional and proactive approach to fire safety enforcement and community engagement.
