The WFS Awards have always been about celebrating excellence, impact, and the people who continue to shape and strengthen the fire service.
As part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring the Awards remain meaningful, inclusive, and reflective of our community, we would like to share an important update.
After careful consideration, there will be a planned pause in holding the WFS Awards in 2026. This pause gives us the opportunity to focus on future planning and ensure the Awards continue to reflect the values, achievements, and excellence found across the fire service.
We are pleased to confirm that the WFS Awards will return in 2027, coinciding with the 25th year of our Training and Development Events. Bringing these two milestones together creates an exciting opportunity to recognise excellence, reflect on progress, and celebrate 25 years of learning, development, and support for Women in the Fire Service.
Award categories are shown for reference and will return as part of the 2027 Awards programme.
