Group Manager (GMB + 20%) Vacancies Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service

Training and Development (based Bowthorpe, Norwich)

Prevention, Protection and Emergency Planning (based HQ Wymondham)

District Manager Eastern (based Great Yarmouth)

District Manager Central (temporary) (based Norwich)

In order to be eligible to apply, you must satisfy the following criteria:

  • Existing substantive Group Manager
  • Substantive competent Station Manager
  • Competent Level 2 ICS commander and be able to provide countywide operational cover to ICS Level 3, in line with Service policy.

The selection process will incorporate an unseen exercise, panel interview, level 3 command assessment for all external candidates and internal candidates who have not currently passed this assessment, and an opportunity to meet representatives of the teams. The final selection decision will be based on all elements of the selection process, including application and line manager testimony. Dates for the selection process will be confirmed to shortlisted candidates.
